<p>I was looking at the different essay choices for UVA (not common app) and one of the choices was to write about your favorite word and why? ***. How are you supposed to make a great essay based on your favorite word. Who has favorite words?</p>

<p>Eh, some people do, though I agree most wouldn’t. Pick a word you think is interesting: maybe the way it sounds, its etymology, something weird about the word (facetious, for example, has all the vowels in order in it). Or you could just choose a different topic, if it’s just one of the choices…</p>
