Probably the best I’ve ever written, showed to alum who cried because he missed being on Grounds so much.
@JSTECK22 I submitted my application like a week before the deadline, and my last name is towards the end of the alphabet. I just got inquiry access denied a few days ago and tbh I thought maybe they do them by last names.
@WatchYouWant It’s possible they only give interviews to in-state applicants. Your stats are /seriously/ impressive so I highly doubt they would reject you.
If it seems like I’m on here all the time, its because I am… hahaha
Also, if you haven’t already, go to page 39 and posts #577 and #578 and join in on our poll!! (posts by me)
It has been really cool to see who has what on their SIS portals
I just found out that GAA for the SEAS I have to get an assoicate degree in Engineering or Science. I got the Associate of Science for Computer Science at NVCC but they said that it is not the Engineering A.S or Science A.S so there is no GAA.
Kind of surprised because on the agreement it says an assosicate of science degree can be used for GAA and I thought a cs associate counts as an associates of science degree because it has a A.S in front of it.
For future applicants if you want GAA you have to recieve the Engineering A.S or Science A.S not any other associate such as math or computer science
I believe everyone should keep their head held up high! Know you did the best you could, and know that you’re doing the best you can now! Overstressing and overthinking is not going to make anything better or different, so you just have to be confident. Trying to tell myself this every day but instead i have this tab open 24/7 and constantly am looking at SIS lol
This has been on my mind lately: Was I not supposed to put my intended major as commerce on the common app? I am a freshman at my school right now and I was wondering if putting commerce is applying to McIntire? the suspense is killing me to the point that I am asking myself dumb questions!!
@jopak123 If you’re a Freshman you’re supposed to apply as pre-commerce, not commerce. You can only transfer into McIntire after completion of your second year. If you apply as pre-commerce and get admitted, you transfer internally from UVA.
If you applied under the college of arts and sciences then you probably clicked pre-comm since I dont think there is an option for commerce. If you applied directly to the comm school, that might be a problem… I’d call them and tell them you intended to apply for pre-comm
