<p>Yes it was a joke hence the smiley face. What did you interpret it as? A rejection of the idea of Michigan and UVA competing for students?, a rejection of Presidents caring about acceptance rates?, a dismissal of Michigan being a peer with UVA? What?</p>
<p>Any idea on when a final app count can be expected? Have you seen, at least, an increase in submitted applications? </p>
