<p>Yes, UVA will take the highest score on each section.</p>
<p>I’m not sure if you can take it as many times as you want, but 3-4 times would be fine. Princeton, for example, doesn’t care how many times you take the SAT. Regional rep Chris Burkmar told me that you could take it 5,6,7 times - and they wouldn’t care. In fact, as he said, the admissions committee would never know; low-level interns and secretaries are the ones who handle that stuff. Anyways, I’m not sure what UVA’s stance on this is, so you might want to call them. I say take it until you’re happy with your score.</p>
