UVA, UCLA, USC

Does anyone have any experience with UVA UCLA or USC? I heard they meet 100% of financial need and wondering if this is true. Thanks!

UCLA does not meet need but can be generous for in-state California students that have a low EFC and offer little merit aid which is highly competitive. For OOS students, UCLA gives little to no financial aid so expected costs hover around $65K/year.

For USC, they do meet need but need is determined by the school and not you.

As a private school, USC does not care about state residency for financial aid. Based on your past posts, you’re out-of-state for the UCs, which means you’d get little (if any) financial aid at UCLA.

UVA is one of the two public universities that claims to meet the full financial need of all admitted domestic students; UNC Chapel Hill is the other.

Run the EFC calculators.
