<p>I find it hilarious when a Caucasian student feels compelled to opine about racism in higher education, let alone a school that he doesn’t even go to (ahem Jaimecago). Let me be clear, as a gay Latino, I never once felt stereotyped, mocked or racially discriminated and neither did any of my minority friends. Yes, there have been a couple of racial incidents, but they are few and far between. I don’t what the hell the above poster is talking about, I was in the MRC, and UVA tries everything to make minority groups feel welcomed. Cville is an extremely diverse city, go volunteer at the International Rescue Committee, migrant aid or upward bound, there’s more to UVA than Foxfields. Of course Jaimecago would know this if he actually went to UVA.</p>
