What is your COA (cost of attendance) for each school ?
What do you plan to study ?
Economics. I’d like to not think about the cost. Can do either, but RU is cheaper.
And state of residency?
Major?
Post graduation plans?
Other factors? (sports, campus type, etc)
NJ, Economics, (maybe law school), doesn’t play sports, no preference of campus type just large and they are both large.
Since you have RU-Honors, you should get priority course registration which is a strong positive.
For a flagship state university, Virginia is a bit unusual in that it has a dominant frat culture (as opposed to no dominating social culture). Do you think that you will fit in with the campus culture at U Virginia ?

RU honors definitely puts it a step above Rutgers, and comes with a scholarship, my son’s friend turned down BC for Rutgers honors (also in NJ).
