UVM vs. UMass Amherst: which is easier to get into? Or are they relatively equal?

<p>Have applied to both, gotten into one, and am hoping to get into the other. I was wondering how the two compare.</p>

<p>According to PrincetonReview.com, UMass rates an 86 on their 60-99 Admissions Selectivity scale; Vermont rates an 83.</p>

<p>I’ve found Vermont slightly more competitive. Objectively, median standardized test scores are higher at Vermont, SAT about 25 points higher (M + V), ACT 1 point higher.</p>
