<p>Hi everyone,
I just registered for the Advising and Orientation. I wanted to know if anyone else has, and if so, maybe we can meet each other then. I am attending the July 28th one, and am a psychology major. </p>

<p>So I was just talking to an admissions counselor and apparently everyone needs to send their official transcript (from their colleges that they are finishing classes). I was told a few months ago that not everyone needs to send a transcript, but now I’m being told that we need to. I guess it’s better to do it than not do it, and find out later you had to do it to finalize your acceptance to UW. I just wanted to let everyone here know, since I am now finding out the information I was given earlier might have been wrong.</p>

<p>I chose my A&O session to be the earliest date, July 9. I think it is best to pick the earliest dates since that is when you will register for classes.</p>

<p>@potatomawnster‌ I didn’t even have July 9 as an option, I had to take July 25th as the earliest date. When did you sign up?</p>

<p>Yeah the 25th was the earliest I could sign up for as well. I looked into it (tried to change my date to an earlier one) and it seems to be dependent on your major. </p>

<p>@nornorbalina That’s probably because you chose the “College of Arts and Sciences” options. While my intended major, ACMS, is part of the arts and sciences, it is not listed so I had to choose the “General Interest Sessions”, which has earlier and more dates to choose from.</p>
