<p>hey today’s seattle post-intelligencer reports that “several hundred more students than expected have said they want to attend the University of Washington this fall.” they wanted a freshman class of 5100 and 5600 have said they intend to enroll. wow. housing will be tight. tons of people are wanting to attend the UW. maybe the class of 2010 will be full of really cool people who really want to be in seattle and at this particular college. </p>
<p>also, washington’s own qwest was the only (only!) phone company that refused to hand over access to its customers phone records during this latest bush domestic spying scandal which has tapped 200 million Americans without a warrant. qwest rules and now i want to give them my business and kiss the sign at Qwest Field. “people shouldn’t be afraid of their governments; governments should be afraid of their people”–any V movie fans out there?</p>
