<p>Weighted GPA varies by school, so while course rigor is still important, weighted GPA in and of itself isn’t. Rank is probably the most important (note the number of vals and sals at HYPSMetc), but this wouldn’t be as true in schools that rank with unweighted GPA (where vals may have taken the easiest classes possible).</p>
