Any opinions? UGA is about 20k less with merit? DD doesn’t care about weather. Not direct admit at Wisconsin or UGA (since it doesn’t offer it)
What major?
UGA has a great sheet - pick the majors and it tells you the job and roles.
Wisconsin not so great although maybe i’m just missing the report - but they should be able to share with you if you contact them.
I think the schools are interchangeable in most cases but you can see UGA in better detail - in very good detail, in fact (from 2 years ago).
Rank really isn’t relevant - it’s different by major and it it’s necessarily correlating with placement - and there are different ranks - but I put their pages below.
Recruiting - you’d have to ask - but today so much is online - and kids finding jobs on indeed/linkedin in addition to companies reaching out - I wouldn’t be concerned. The fact that kids are finding jobs is what matters. And they are.

Where does the student feel best?
Which is more affordable - if it matters?
Weather, access to school, other things?
Really no wrong choice here.
If you open up each UGA tab on the majors, you can see the kind of companies that people are going to (and roles) so that will at least give you ideas of stuff out there.
I think you’re good either way.
