I initially applied to wisconsin so I could have more target schools, but now I’m very worried about being admitted due to how competitive it have become over the past few years. Do they defer a lot early action?

My daughter applied before Nov 1 but didn’t get a respond so I’m assuming she didn’t do early action and did regular. So when will we find out?
Great so this seems to be the new thread. What is educated guess re: RD decision date? Last year was March 24. We know they like Fridays, and Ivy Day is Thursdays March 28. So is Friday March 22 a reasonable guess?

Was your child also deferred? I’m hoping 3/22 is a good guess.

My D is RD but I was watching the ea thread closely. Lots of deferrals!

No, we didn’t get a response. Her portal still looks the same. So I’m thinking she did regular instead of early action application, but I thought she applied before Nov 1. This is my assumption since we didn’t get a response yet.

Click the student center link to,portal. It should show eight tiles. One is admissions. Click that and it will show regular decision and date submitted

It does say regular decision on her application. Not sure if I can wait two more months

Did everyone in RD get a request for mid year self reported grades? It’s in portal in application section.

I was curious because seems like the deferred application from EA required to submit so was curious about RD. We haven’t been asked.
Same, nothing in “to do” section, but the self reported grades link popped up in the application tile. Not sure what to do. I’m waiting on her grades and then will decide. If they’re good, no reason not to. She’s on the bubble of a B in AP stats so 
My son pulled out an “A” in AP stats with the final, and he was so excited/relieved. He did pull an A- in AP Calc BC that he’s concerned about since he’s Deferred for CS…
Hoping a 3.95 helps that he didn’t cash it in his Senior year. I saw a post on Reddit that a kid was accepted elsewhere, and while typically pulls A’s and B+'s, slacked too much 1st semester and they got a D in Calc, and just B’s and C’s, no A’s… The debate is if that’ll potentially revoke his offer.
We’re under the assumption that at some point before stepping foot on campus, schools will want to see your Senior grades?
All of her other RD schools had them required through common app, but Wisco seems optional and for those deferred at Michigan it is definitely optional (though I would assume not sending looks bad).
