Last year available 2024 about 500 came off the waitlist. 7600 accepted a spot on the list.
seems UW sent an email today double-checking if kids that previously accepted a WL spot still wanted to be on the waitlist

Does anyone know when things were released last year?
A few posted they received an offer off the waitlist on 5/8, so that may have been the first wave of offers. If so, it took them a week after decision day to get it going. Not sure why this year’s waitlist offer letters mentioned they may start asking students off waitlist as early as 4/15 - and not sure if their waitlist offer letters say this every year. Wish they could move it along quicker.

My apps in the portal changed from 86 to 83 today. I think it just means UW is updating the portals of those that asked to remain on the waitlist - but at least it’s something.
My waitlist students apps went from 86 to 87 tonight, and he has the terra dotta app. Anyone else?
I think some waitlisted students will be hearing in the next day or two.
yep, my daughter just got Terra Dotta. Do we think this means an acceptance?

In my experience on these boards, I’ve never seen someone with Terra Dotta who was NOT accepted, and generally pretty soon after that app shows up.
I’m hoping others chime in to get an idea of scope.
I’m afraid I’m stuck at 86. Congrats to both your kids - I think it’s a positive sign.
