I just received an email stating that decisions have been pushed back to early May. I imagine anyone who applied has received the same communique, but I’m posting here just in case anyone was left in the dark.

I wonder why they’ve pushed the deadline. I was thinking maybe a larger applicant pool than in previous years? All the cold/snow days from earlier in the semester may have pushed it back? Or something to do with freshman admission?
Remember they bumped the deadline back a week too.

^ that was my next thought as well. I mean when I think of early May, I immediately thought of anytime before like May, 10th. Nonetheless, I’m holding hope that it’ll be this week or earliest next week at the latest! All the anticipation and anxiety is overwhelming!
Maybe they just forgot last Friday and pushed it to this Friday
They released a post on Instagram “UW-Madison admissions”, saying that May 1st is "Decision Day. wish we can get decision tomorrow~
If I remember correctly they pushed the deadline back 5 days for the weather. I’m guessing they’re going to push back decisions for about the same amount of time, so hopefully we’ll hear something by Sunday.
