UW or Emerson?

I think I want to become a writer later on. While I’m not 100% certain, it’s always been a great passion of mine.

I’ve recently gotten into both schools, and love them equally, although they are very different. I love that the University of Washington has that campus vibe, with lots of school spirit and activities that interest me (sports, clubs, greek life etc), and I also like that I’d be able to take classes in different courses, especially forensic anthropology, as that is a great interest of mine too, and perhaps something I may want to pursue (?). It would also be a more stable career path, especially if I were to double major in writing and anthropology.

However Emerson has amazing internship opportunities, and have arguable the better writing program. I’d give up the traditional college experience in favour of having a better foot in the door and more specialised classes/connections. Especially as it’s in Boston, thus right by many important locations, as well as having a campus in LA.

Does anybody have any knowledge on the two schools, their academics, etc?
