V.P. Predictions, anyone?

Just for fun.

My predictions: Obama/Bayh—McCain/Romney

There are a bunch of older gal pals at work all of whom plan to not vote for Obama if he doesn’t select Hillary as his VP. We are all steadfast and plan to block vote for McCain if Obama’s VP is anyone other than Hillary.

I was hoping this thread could be a friendly one, as we have so many others weighing in arguments for and against. Just for fun, who do you think they WILL pick, not necessarily who you’d like to see picked. Care to play?

Obama/Unknown

McCain/Hillary

“There are a bunch of older gal pals at work all of whom plan to not vote for Obama if he doesn’t select Hillary as his VP. We are all steadfast and plan to block vote for McCain if Obama’s VP is anyone other than Hillary.” So obviously they were never voting for the Democratic party principles that Hillary AND Obama both stand for, they were just voting for someone whoes gonads are they same as theirs. Oh Brother, what short sighted, stupid, selfish thinking. This is the same thing as being a racist-only voting for a white candidate if you are white.

I hear Brett Favre is looking for a job…

^^^ looks like he got one as of today. It’s just, where will he be performing that job… on a bench or on a football field?

Romney would make my efforts to move my yellow dog Democrat wife from the “sitting this one out” column to the “voting for McCain” nearly impossible.

My apologies beforehand if this link isn’t applicable to you or your particular group Pharmgal, but to some of those who would resort to block voting if BO doesn’t choose Hillary I think this message bears repeating. I’m not a BO supporter, btw.

[Your Whiteness is Showing](http://www.lipmagazine.org/~timwise/WhitenessShowing.html)

What democratic principles?

It took me a long time to realize that both parties are the same, they sell their baloney differently. I really thought the Democratic party was different, but I was wrong, they are just as bad as the republican party if not worse. The leadership of the DNC is also very weak, and I don’t feel comfortable with these people running the country.

The Democratic party (with the help of their media friends) has been effective in portraying the Republican party as a racist and sexist, but the they themselves have provided a haven for sexists and racists. They prey on the fears of women and minorities; Roe V Wade, Welfare, public schools etc. There is nothing progressive about the Democratic party.

The party has projected this nonexistent egalitarian front which I naively bought into. I was very idealistic. I thought the party would come up with ideas to help move the country forward:

An America that works for everyone. An America that celebrates and embraces our differences. An America that also celebrates the things we have in common. An America with opportunities for the rich and poor. An America where individuals are only limited by their imaginations, etc.

Is the American dream still possible?

I think many people have forgotten that the Democratic Party ushered in the Jim Crow era.

Seems as if this old saying applies;

“If you’re not a liberal in your twenties, you don’t have a heart. If you’re not a conservative in your 40’s you don’t have a brain.”

As for who the VP’s are going to be, I’m anxiously awaiting. No guesses here.

Uhhh… I think you need to review some American history. The Democratic Party we see today was born during the FDR administration.

Bravo! That will teach them a lesson! Will they also start listening to Rush Limbaugh? After all, he did his darnest to get people to vote for Hillary during the primaries.

This is soooooooooo sweet!

Obama/Kaine

McCain/Romney

Ron Paul/Elmer Fudd

Obama/Bayh

McCain/Cantor

Barr/Paul

Nader/Hillary
