VA Summer Governor's Academy vs. Honors Physics

I have 2 things i could do over the summer:

governor’s academy for spanish- a 3-week, language-intensive program and the closest thing i would get to being in a foreign country. it’s really hard to get into, only 60 participants (out of about 2 nominated from each school)

or

honors physics- since i m planning to study medicine and apply to top schools, i kind of NEED physics. it will give me additional weight on my GPA (if i get A+) and since my friends/competitors are taking it, i might be at a disadvantage. PLUS if i dont take it, i might have to take online, non-weighted physics which may lower my gpa.

If i do get into the program, would it hurt my chances if i did NOT take physics? which one looks better and/or benefit me more?

Since you are planning to study medicine (and eventually move to med school im assuming), I guess you have to choose from Science vs. Spanish. Are you going to major/minor in Spanish in college? Will you speaking extensively of your love for Spanish etc etc on your college app? If yes, go to the Gov school.
If not, go for honors physics.
(personally I would do honors physics, but hey, i really dont like spanish so i might be biased)
