My son ultimately chose RIT over VA Tech. He was offered a $4000 a year scholarship from VA Tech around mid-April after our Hokie Focus visit (further incentive?). After not being offered any initially. Unfortunately for them my son just didn’t feel connected at his visit. I thought the school was great. It does make you wonder if their yield is not what they expected this year in engineering.
