So the only csu with a math actuary concentration are San Jose and Channel island. I want to be an actuary. I’m thinking of going to one of these but I’m curious what the value is compared to an applied math degree. I live in Modesto and it would be a lot cheaper if I just went to Stan and did applied math
You would have to see if the CSUStan has the desired actuarial preparation courses, including the VEE courses, so that you can major in applied math while taking electives to prepare for the actuarial exams.
