I realize I’m kinda mediocre in comparison to most on CC, but Vanderbilt is the only “reach” school I’m applying to, so it’d be nice to know where I might fall. Thanks! :)

I’ve definitely seen kids with stats like these get accepted ED, so it’s probably a high match (40%) for ED. For RD there’s little to no chance. Get the ACT to a 33+ and you’ll make a great ED candidate.

Yeah, you have a great chance at Vanderbilt. I can’t guarantee that you’ll get in but I am very confident that you will get in. Nice Work.

Also keep in mind that they love standardized tests. I’m applying ED to vanderbilt and I’m taking a few SAT IIs this october on the 12th. It’s probably not essential or very important, but just sitting for the English literature test or math level 1/2 test would help, even if you don’t study. If you made A+'s in your math/english classes junior year, you should get scores above 700. And a 34+ on the ACT will make Vanderbilt a great match for you, and i’d be surprised if you got denied
