Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholarship Questions
Wondering if anyone is a past recipient of this award and can talk about the benefits? How many CV scholars are in any given class (i.e. class of 2027, class of 2027). Thanks so much.

Withdraw button disappearedā¦I guess decisions have been finalized. Hopefully theyāll get released before ivy day

It looks like last year the withdraw button disappeared on March 21 and then decisions released March 28. Very interesting that itās already gone this year as of 3/15. Maybe next Friday??

Maybe, but itās hard to believe a school could be releasing earlier. Maybe they recieved slightly less applications or something? But 3/28 is ivy day this year, and they do like to release a few days before that, so next Friday could be a possibility.

Ugh. S24 was deferred EDI and only just got his trimester 2 grades, I hope they actually got the chance to look at them (they were submitted a few days ago)
Mine were also submitted a few days ago. They probably still looked at those grades given that they are required and that most were probably submitted around the same time as oursā¦

Is there any information about when the decisions will be released?
I believe applications are up, unfortunately, as my d24 was deferred and is expecting a rejection

I was talking about RD, not ED. RD decisions are not yet. Good luck to your daughter. I heard Vanderbilt defers than accepts a lot, so she has a shot.

Some folks are saying they have Vanderbilt Commodore ID in the portal under the financial section, but my daughter doesnāt have one. Does this mean anything?
You can access it by clicking on 2024-2025 Parent Tax / Non-Filer Form button in the finanical aid section. It is near the top. I think everyone has it

Unlikely. Should be Tuesday or Wendesday of next week. They like to be a few days or so before ivy day, which is Thursday.
Iāve heard that itās going to be Wednesday the 27th, not sure if completely confirmed but very possible that Blair (School of Music) had confirmed.
3/27 would be right in line with previous years. They generally will post to their blog the morning of or day before to let everyone know as well.
