Now that was a question we didnāt askā¦but I do know that one student that I know for sure will be admitted does have the Fin Aid Counselorā¦ the other student we are watching at this time does NOT have that Fin Aid Counselor. Weāre under the same impression that seeing the link to the Fin Aid Counselor is a ātellā. But I suppose I will know for sure tomorrow to see if the second student is admitted.

The question is if the FA ātellā was something anyone during ED1/ED2 rounds noticed.
How do you known for sure the one student will be admitted?
based on a quick check of the 2024 ed thread the answer is probably not but then again portal astrology is more common in regular decision rounds
I donāt think FA counselor means anything personally since aid at Vanderbilt is not connected to admissions.

i mean thats logical but at the same time you see enough inductive cases where the two are correlated and thus, portal astrology
There has only been like 2 people, not enough to correlate anything.

Again when I called the FA office yesterday they told me we have a FA counselor assigned to us and the person on the phone game me the name of our counselor without hesitation.

i can second this, called and they immediately gave me name+email and offered to redirect me to them

Dunno about Vandy but RD Pomona they removed the AO assigned to each applicant, the reason (speculated) being that those rejected do not need them. But again just 2 people here have a name and email associated

So Pomona assigned admissions counselor to everyone. But about 2-4 days before the results were declared they removed the counselors for a majority of applicants. Thus only a few had the a counselor associated with their portal and all of them got in

Yes. Students who were admitted had their counselor listed in their portal. However, the counselor was removed from the rejected studentās portal 7 to 2 days before the announcement.
