Edited - we were asked to upload docs to portal (a request which I thought everybody received), but not via IDOC. That seems like a good sign for you!

Another thing I noticed is that a new FA counselor has been assigned today. It’s different from the one assigned 3 days ago.

Same here I don’t think it means anything

Did anyone else here get rejected from the Ingram scholars program and see how misleading the rejection letter was :skull:

I don’t think this whole FA counselor stuff means anything either lol

Edited: Has anyone heard back from their financial counselor if not listed in the portal? Did anyone reach out to that person and receive a response? Would the university assign a FA counselor to each of the thousands of applicants? Sigh

I have this on the portal but not sure what it means. It started appearing 3 or 4 days back.

ā€œFinancial Aid Counselor: Casey Johnsonā€

This is how my FA portal has always looked. No different. No FA counselor, no AO listed:

Someone called Vanderbilt and they said yes they do

Pulled this from Vanderbilt website : Casey Johnson serves as the financial aid officer for all incoming and current Owen students.

what were the names?

Yes. I believe it’s always been there.

Maybe the FA counselor has something to do with those admitted for the Mosaic program? I know they usually offer travel vouchers for those students. I tend to think if the FA counselor just appeared a few days ago, that’s got to be a very good sign. It wouldn’t make sense to just throw it out there now.

I applied for financial aid & there’s no counselor assigned for me. I’m most probably rejected.

yes I did! Is it generic?

It’s definitely a tell

Casey Johnson is the FA counselor for the Vandy Graduate Business school.

That’s what I was thinking, are the people with FA counselors undergraduate or graduate applicants?
