My S25 did not, he said he was going to do it, then I guess he forgot…

Does anyone know how important that video is? I was in india i am domestic applciant) during the submittion time and even uploading text-only emails took up to half an hour. I did send them an email update regarding where I was but I did not explicitly include the point that I would not be able to submit the video. Should I be Ok?

My son did, but it wasn’t well thought. He just recorded what he felt like letting them know!

I don’t think it should. Also, I believe there was a payment involved which we were not aware of. I don’t believe they should penalize students for this.

Vanderbilt will be the last of my DD’s reach schools in a brutal admission season where’s she’s been both waitlisted and rejected by “Target” schools. And next year, the demographic cliff looms…

Good luck! We are in a similar boat with my son. So far 3 acceptances, 2 of which are good options, but have gotten rejections (not even waitlist) from 4 target schools and one reach school with stats that should have made him a strong contender. He still is awaiting decisions from Vanderbilt, Duke, Princeton, Harvard, and Stanford, and we fully expect all of them to be brutal.

Best of luck to your S! I am sure he will get into at least one. You never know what the AO was thinking when they made their desicion. Only the acceptances matter, so congrats!
