What is a demographic cliff and what is looming???
The demographic cliff refers to the drop in birth rates because of the recession in 2008-2009. Less babies born back then mean less kids going to college in 2026-2027. Schools like Vanderbilt won’t feel the pressure but smaller schools will be impacted by less applications.
This is totally unrelated but as an international student I’m so amazed by how invested the parents are in college admission and the fact that they’re on a forum like this lol
When I was a high school senior many years ago, my father said to me, “Let me know where you get into college so I know where to send the check.” It was the only conversation we had about college.
I guess, hence the term, “helicopter parents.”
it works for me
Works for me
EDIT: Nvm. Only worked when signed out
how does it work
It says registration not open
It let you sign up and login?
Mine says at this time, registration is not open.
When you say it works, do you mean you could register or that you just clicked the link
well at least you’re breaking the cycle
I can assure you… I’ve wasted WAY TOO MUCH time vacillating over which college accepts/rejects my S23 and now S25.
Did anyone notice a March date for the 'Dore For A Day disappeared? I swear there was a third one.
I think the third date was yesterday so it would be gone now.
