Does Vanderbilt usually send a email before decisions come out?
-Your UW GPA is low compared to the typical admit: unless your school is a very competitive school and kids with similar UW-gpa have been accepted in the past, this lowers your chance significantly
-You did not submit test scores, and which is possibly a negative based on TO data released at peer schools
-You didn’t say which APs you took–but your scores are a mix of 3-4-5: that’s probably average applicant at best, depending whether or not the APs you chose are among the most rigorous offered at your school
Overall then, I think you have less than the average chance of admission in RD (I believe it was 9% last year? Maybe it was lower).

- AP’s i took include physics 1, physics 2, seminar, gov, psych, lang, bio, stats, calc AB, macro econ, micro econ, research
- my UW GPA is a littler lower however my school is competitive with that so i’m not sure it’ll have a huge effect
- i went TO because my county was third in the country for the most COVID cases on a day by day basis which i explained in my application
i definitely just wanted to see how i could possibly compare and im not expecting an acceptance, it was more just to see if i could do it!! thank you for your input!!

Was yours there yesterday? Mine was there yesterday but I just checked and it’s gone. 
Decisions came out on the 12th in 2020 do you guys think they might come out early again? I am hoping for before the weekend.
For ED1 the withdraw button disappeared two days before the decision so maybe we will hear back Friday.

Is it true that ED2 at Vandy is more competitive than regular decision?

D22 had her Vanderbilt Interview this afternoon and said it was the best one she’s ever had. She felt like she really connected with her interviewer, learned a lot about the school, and got excited about Vandy. Who knows if it will impact her admissions decision, but it certainly amped up her interest in the school.
