All I’m saying is if you’re looking at 5 or 6 o’clock because you live on the East coast it hasn’t reached that time in Nashville. Maybe it will be May this year. Transfer admissions is very different from freshman admissions.
guys I really need to hear back before May 1st. I love this school, but I will lose my second choice school bc their deadline to enroll is may 1st and I can’t afford multiple deposits ugh

Other schools will require decisions by the time last wave or two is posted from Vanderbilt?
I would think Vanderbilt would require a later decision. Some schools it’s June 15 and some schools it’s May 1st or 15th.
Quite possibly. Many applicants go through a few deposit rounds because transfer decisions are so variable. It’s not fair but it’s the way the current system is set up. Also be aware that your decision window may vary quite drastically as well…from a few weeks to a few days. Especially when getting offers off a waitlist.
IIRC Vandy’s first transfer decisions were announced April 21/22 and applicant acceptances were due @ May 8th but I heard subsequent offers had tighter deadlines and waitlist offers had around 3-4 days between the offer made and the decision required. All hearsay so YMMV.
