Anyone else holding out hope for Friday portal updates like they’ve done in the past? This is getting ridiculous just based on the amount of stress it’s causing, especially everyday at 2:15 at this point.
If I’m accepted, I suspect all that frustration will go away pretty quickly lol.
Yeah, I’ve been checking every day now with the real possibility that they could totally come out… its super stressful. But I never expect it on the weekend! So hopefully I can enjoy my birthday Sunday.

Well, I just got rejected at Rice, so I’m really hoping for good news from Vandy. I’ve been in this struggle for almost 4 years now and every damn time it’s the same story, even now with the 4.0’s, tough classes, improved test scores, etc… Different shades, same bitter taste.
I just need one acceptance, christ.

So I checked MyAppVU on my phone and signing in took me to a “Your Enrollment Service” webpage, but I think it said “I was not permitted to view it.” I highly doubt it means much, but that glitch never happened before. Hmmmm.

Hey pals, I applied last Thursday a little rushed. Had all my materials and essays written for a bunch of other schools I applied to on time, but yeah waited last minute for Vandy. Everything is submitted as of today but I hate this anxiety and nervousness that comes with waiting for an acceptance. Anyone know when second wave decisions came out last year?
@plzacceptme22 they haven’t gone off of what they’ve done in previous years this year. They did one round of decision on april 18 and have not done any since.

I just called the admissions office to ask whether there will be a wave of decisions come out today. I also said that I was accepted as a transfer student last year so I basically know most of the tricks. The front-desk staff told me that “decisions NEVER come out on a weekly basis (and “if anyone says something about weekly basis, they are joking”);” “it is on an INDIVIDUAL basis so each applicant’s decision could come out at any time.” I was too frustrated to hold back the “really” sound from my mouth. I don’t know what they are doing but I feel like being played.
Individual basis?.. oh brother… can an institution of such high caliber not be consistent with their admissions??
