Does anyone know if they’re still accepting people off the waitlist?
@kostherapper I sent them a follow-up email and also called my counselor and left a voice mail. No word from either of them. I’ll try calling admissions later on today and ask.
anyone hear anything? anyone off the waitlist ?
I heard nothing back. Guess it’s time to start new college life in another university, the waitlist will close in middle July, and it’s already 7/5 now.

I logged onto my app vu earlier and was redirected to a page that said “YES your enrollment services” at the top, “applicant landing” below that, and “you are not authorized to access this page” in the body of the page…anyone have any idea about this?
I’ve asked the admission office recently, they told me that historically the waitlist has already closed by this time, but this year the waitlist is still open. They will send us email when it’s closed, but I am already tired about the waiting and decided to go to another place… The waiting is tooooo long.
It is actually really weird… I just found the admission blog had posted “Waitlist Closed for Freshman Applicants” while in the past three years, freshman and transfer waitlists closed at the same time.
Maybe it’s just a suspicion, but I’ve gotten the impression that admissions for a lot of selective colleges this year has been out of the ordinary; notification dates, number of accepted students, over enrollment, etc… Rice, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, have all been a little funky this year, especially with transfers.
Hey guys! I saw this blog, and I’m glad you all are in the same boat. I turned in my application in late May, and have still not heard back from Vandy (even though move-in is a month away???). I already committed at this point, but I’m really concerned that Vandy is going to accept me, and I’ll have to rescind my commitment to another school. Like what are the chances of being admitted?

It is actually a good sign because if you look at the blogs for the past five years, they usually close first-year and transfer waitlist together.
I just found out that my admission counselor left his job :)) Wonder what happened to my application, huh?

My boyfriend got a new counselor as well. I figured that may indicate something neutral
I applied in late May- I haven’t received any emails, or anything on my portal. I’m worried because I’ve already submitted an enrollment deposit to my backup, and have committed to housing. I understand I applied late, but it’s really irritating to still not have a definitive answer from Vandy.
Has anyone heard back from the waitlist?

Does Vandy even admit transfer students at this point? Move in is less than a month away.
