<p>I sent in my spring grades and then i just called and spoke with my regional counselor. SHe said spots are gonna be really slim this year for waitlisted applicants… and that we wouldnt know for a few more weeks</p>

<p>Last year, they waitlisted kids and gave kids a letter requesting semester grades. Maybe they didn’t differentiate this year, but I think last year the waitlist was due to space availability and the sgr was just because vandy wanted more info.</p>
<p>Weeeelllllllll. I guess the world is not going to end today, so I hope y’all get off the waitlist! 
Visited Vandy this weekend and it was wonderful. More beautiful than I even remembered!</p>
<p>I won’t be visiting the campus until June 11th since my school year doesn’t end until June 7th (quarter system :/). By the way, the housing application is now accessible.</p>

<p>Waitforspring, in addition to transfer11323’s question, I wonder if you’re applying personally or if it’s for a child of yours, because in your profile is says you’re 50. I’ve been very curious about them accepting students as undergraduates that weren’t right out of high school.</p>
<p>Yup, it’s my daughter that applied. I’m just the watchman here. 
No waitlist, but she only has like 10 days to make the decision/get deposit in. Stats are she was valedictorian of her (small) high school class, has I believe a 3.75 currently and will be a junior in the fall. She was waitlisted when applying out of high school 2 yrs. ago.</p>

<p>You mean an initial decision or waiting for a decision for people on the waitlist? If you haven’t gotten an initial response yet I would definitely call ASAP.</p>
<p>Initial decision. I kept getting stonewalled all last week, and my counselor goes MIA for weeks at a time.</p>
<p>Will call Tuesday to get a decision or to withdraw application.</p>
