I’m looking for opinions regarding which one is best education and atmosphere wise. Please help!

What is your intended major?

Vanderbilt and Emory have some real differences in “atmosphere”. Emory has no significant sports scene, and Vanderbilt has a strong athletic culture and is a member of the SEC conference. You may or may not enjoy that, but it CAN be a big part of campus life if you so desire. Berkely is an excellent university, but it is a public university with some of the pitfalls that might entail. San Francisco is a VERY different environment from either Nashville or Atlanta. Vanderbilt has a strong Greek scene (frats and sororities) but many students are perfectly happy NOT being involved in that.

Thanks for the info. I don’t really know what major I want to take, but I’m leaning towards something in the humanities
