<p>OK, I’m from California, so obviously I can only speak about what I hear out here, but Vanderbilt beats Emory hands down on just an overall feeling. Vanderbilt not only has a great reputation, it has Division 1 sports, a great sense of school spirit, full professors teaching classes, a beautiful, natural campus which, remarkably, is located in the middle of Nashville. And if you are a music lover, you’ve got to be amazed that the center of the recording industry is just blocks away from the school. Plus, this from friends going there–it takes unbelievable care of its students. Really—people are very well treated there: great housing, food, free shuttles to the airports, taxi rides, local restaurants as one option on the meal plan…No wonder people at Vanderbilt always look happy! (well, except around exam time, I imagine…)</p>
