<p>Vanier College and Champlain College are both English language CEGEP’s in the Montreal area. CEGEP is a required educational level between high school (Quebecers graduate high school after grade 11) and university. CEGEP students receive a diploma (DEC), not a degree. They are both sort of equivalent to an American community college only everyone is required to attend before going to university.</p>
