Variety in teacher recs

<p>I’m interested in going into the sciences/engineering.
I’ve secured two recommendations: one is from my AP chemistry teacher, and the other from my compsci/MVcalc teacher. So one in science and one in math. These teachers know me very well.</p>

<p>I remember hearing of some schools requiring one from math/science and one from the humanities. Will Stanford prefer that I send science/math + humanities over science + math?</p>
