write-ups
-essays: i used to think they’re rockin’ but now i feel like they’re a little bit morbid and… lame. i tried to steer clear of the pity card (about the death previously mentioned) but when i was writing the essays earlier on in grade 12 i was still very much in my sad place and could not for the life of me write about anything else. oh well. im rambling now, i’ll stop.
-teacher recs: one is excellent; the other should have been excellent but he tells me he began to ramble and he’s afraid he wasn’t clear enough.

i hope you have a few things to say to me to affirm me and/or prepare me for failures to come. oh i applied to harvard princeton yale columbia amherst and middlebury. (HAHA I KNOW, WHO DO I THINK AM, SERIOUSLY.) but don’t worry, i have a few safeties in canada.

i’m wondering about a few things specifically-- school’s don’t actually care that my best friend died, do they? like, that won’t make up for the fact that i’m not an internationally renowned athelete/chemist/curer of cancer? does it lower my chances significantly that the #1 ranked girl at my school has legacy? that another girl at my school has her grandfather on the board of my dream school? i can’t wait until all this anxiety and speculation is over…
