vegan food

Is there much vegan food on campus or in town? Anywhere to get a decent vegan brunch on the weekend?

Princeton dining services has a great option for choosing where and what you want to eat. If you go into this link [University Services: Dining Services - Today’s Menus](http://facilities.princeton.edu/dining/_Foodpro/LOCATION.ASP) you will find the various residences listed under “dining”. During the summer not all of the residences are offering meal service but Rocky/Mathey does. The vegan options are in blue. During the school year there are far more options available than during the summer months. Forbes has a vegetarian dinner (with presumably more vegan options as well) once a week I believe but by using the dining website you can decide where and what to eat.

This is also really handy for people with food allergies as you can choose to show all options that are available by filtering out those that include selected allergens. My son did this during the beginning of his first year but soon discovered that the dining halls label their entrees very clearly with allergen information.

Another great thing about Princeton dining - they use around 20% (I believe) organic products and are working toward increasing the percentage. The food is actually quite good - nothing like I remember in university cafeterias, that is for certain. I realize that it probably still gets tiresome after an entire year of it, but we found the quality of food to be excellent and were impressed each time we have eaten there.

I think you can suggest menu items to dining services too
