Are you wearing them today Deb? Cause I’m very jealous.
If someone wants to hang out on the internet and find a similar looking pair that is NOT $179 you could win a prize!!!

@abasket, I spent $300 last winter on custom orthotics to help me with my PF…they didn’t really help at all.I spend $125 on my birkenstock sandals , so another $50 is doable if it means I can walk like a normal person. All I wore on my feet from February to May was running shoes, so I would consider getting these boots
Thanks to this thread, I’ve just ordered from Amazon Oofos clogs, Algeria boots and I’m trying acorn slippers due to their good price and reviews from people with PF. Prices were good and free returns so figured why not? I’ll have everything tomorrow so will report back on the weekend with reviews :-).
I received the Oofos clogs yesterday but the left one is too tight. I reordered a size larger today.
On those boots, did you order a size up? Is the instep tight? I take Birkenstock 39, but some of the Amazon reviews say a size larger. I thought I never needed more boots, but I could probably walk all day in these, and cannot in others.
reporting back after wearing my new Hoka athletic shoe. I was happy that the size 7 fit. I wear a 7 in Brooks but usually size up in Nike and Puma. I like a wide toe box and was happy to find that the Stinson 3 had a roomy toe box. I admit my first thought was they look like “old” lady shoes but after all the rave reviews on CC I decided to give them a try. It was an awkward feel at first but I got used to them quickly. They are super cushy. I wore them for 6 hours straight on my feet. Normally my feet hurt but they felt great. I didn’t feel the need to change out the insole.
Wore my new boots today. I decided to keep the black. Mostly because I felt they were a little more narrow feeling, it probably wasn’t true and I’m crazy. But one of the gray boots felt stretched out. It’s something I find a lot, when you wear the sample size, the left shoe will get stretched out as people try them on.
Still comfortable, no rubbing at all. The insole was a bit stiff but Birkenstock’s take a while for the insole to mold to the foot. I’m going on a girls trip next week and would like to break in the insole before then. Of course the forcast for next week is 75 and sunny! I might be wearing sandals if it’s that warm.
Wearing these Abeos on vacation right now. I hate walking sandals, and DH doesn’t like the, either. He complimented me and I’ve had others from strangers. They are great for wide feet that need arch support. I love them. Going to order in Black

Much cuter on…
Wearing my 3 inch heel Louboutin’s… on a boat.
So far, so good. Dang. They are no longer available, so can’t share a link to what they look like. They are structured like “ballroom dancing shoes” - have a strap and that strategic positioning of the heel to keep the center of gravity where it is supposed to be. Love them!
@conmama Those blue ones look like fun…picturing wearing them with white capris and a cute top.
They are really cute when looking at them from the top. The silver is very flattering, as would be the turquoise. Ni think black looks very clunky on my 10W foot, but when traveling it’s almost a necessary color. I wore white shirts and a white halter top the other day with the silver and it looked nice…the turquoise would too!
Those are really cute. I have the typical walking sandals (Teva) and did wish I had one pair that was cuter. I like the silver and the turquoise, too.
Very cute! The turquoise color is great, but the snake print really ruins it, IMO. I wish the stupid fake snake trend would die soon…
@psychmomma - I was given a pair of these recently. The cork makes them not scream sports sandal. More fashion less sport.

cute!
I have two pairs of new wedge sandals with cork. Are there any sort of fashion rules/guidelines for cork soled sandals? Summer only? Spring/Summer clothing only? I got them on sale for next year.
I have these in Black and in Camel and they’re very comfortable, so far.

I’ve bought this brand several times and they have very good arch support. I usually get them on sale/clearance.
Got home and tried on my new Birkenstock boots. I love them. The 38 fits fine. I’m a 7 1/2. Now I want them in more colors…
^ those are cute wedges. I wish I could wear those!
I’ve finally concluded that I must have a heel strap to walk correctly in sandals. I’m not sure what it is, but without a strap around the back I step differently and it affects my joints.
Those are darling @mom2collegekids and it says they are only 3" high!
Ooops. Post #168 was intended for the “what height heel” thread, not for this one! ![]()
Anyway, found a link to what the shoes look like:
My awesome secondhand new in box find.
Those are gorgeous, but I wouldn’t make it 3 steps in them!
