Venus Transit

Have you guys seen it?

I was working at my local science museum, and they were having an event for it.

16…why?

volunteering, sorry I just say working because I do the same thing as actual employees

It’s a science museum. It technically focuses on all sciences, but there is a much heavier focus on astronomy, so the transit of Venus was a huge deal.

I live in Alaska and we are supposed to have the best view, but I can’t see it at all.

It’s about 25 minutes, but it’s right by my dad’s office so he just drops me off on his way to work.

Depends…what are you interested in?

If there is a YMCA, or something similar close to you, you could volunteer as a basketball coach. I did that this year, and it was pretty fun. If you want to be a doctor, volunteering at the hospital would probably be your best bet.

I forgot to get up for it, but it was cloudy anyway here so glad I didn’t bother

I watched NASA’s live webcast on it; it was pretty cool and it won’t happen again for 105 years.
