<p>so about 12 weeks ago the University of Houston found that my parents filed as head of household and they needed to Amend their taxes for verification. We did but the irs never completed it but we did submit the 1040x to the finaid office. they accepted it. My fear is that it is now august and i will not receive enough finaid to go to u of h. If not i will have to go to community college. Can anyone shed some more light on my problem? Is it really too late and will i not get enough finaid and have to go to community college?</p>
