Very frustrated, please help

Well, I have three questions, and the first two are the ones im mainly getting frustrated over.

First:

The common app is not letting me send emails to my teachers for letters of rec. Should I just have them write it in and then mail it?

Second:

I was applying to two schools with the common app, and I did not want one of the schools to see my SAT subject tests. I thus sent that application, then went to send th eother with my scores for sat subject test plaugged in and it was all locked. What should I do?

Third

It said online for Harvard that they read in order they came in starting in December… does that mean I am now on the bottom of the stack and all these other brilliant people r on top of me? if so… uuuuuuuuuuugh

Thank yall for any answers, and please answer quickly… especially with the first two.

1) My daughter did not have recommendations be done electronically. Having them be written and then mailed works just fine.

2) As for you application problem, the solution is actually very easy. You want to make another version. For my daughter by the end, she had about 5 versions of her application. To find out how to do this (It’s been a year sorry), log in on common ap and go to the instruction page. About half way down the list will be a link called “Application Versions”. Click that link. My recollection is that will lead you through the process of setting up you next version. BTW a new version can only be set up after a previous one has been submitted and “locked”. You should be all set.

3) This topic has been discussed on CC. Yes, Harvard has that date as when they start going through the applications. Yes, yours will now be lower in the pile. But to have submitted early to the detriment of your application would not have been good. Continue to put in your best ap and do not stress at this point. There are accepted students who submitted shortly before the Jan 1 deadline. It Harvard wants you, they will take you regardless of your submit date.
