Very low SAT score - 780 overall

I’m a senior. I just want to go to community college, so this doesn’t matter at all, right? I got 350 on math, 230 on reading, and 200 on writing.

Most community colleges are open enrollment, meaning they will accept all sorts of students regardless of SAT score provided you are in decent academic standing at your school

What is the rest of this story? Your grammar and punctuation are flawless in this post, yet you claim to have a score of 200 in Writing on a test that has a range from 200 - 800. You claim to have missed every single question- a statistical improbability, as random chance would afford some bonus. Be a little more forthcoming, won’t you?

I had a panic attack and had to keep taking the test for my parents. I wrote one sentence of an essay in the time period. I freaked out and couldn’t answer any questions at all. I couldn’t handle my anxiety or maintain focus for three hours.

That does explain it! Perfectly understandable.

I think you can cancel scores the day of the test if that happens again. In any case, community college does not need SAT scores. I would see if you could write a letter of explanation and have the score cancelled, though it is not necessary. If you ever need to take the SAT again you can use score choice, or if they will cancel this one, you won’t need to.

I wonder if there is some sort of accommodation you could have to ease your test anxiety? It doesn’t seem fair that your anxiety is masking your potential outcome to such a great degree.

Feeling sorry for Emmaline…I too suffer from panic attacks and anxiety and I know how it feels.

Haven’t you asked for some special accommodation? Usually a seperate room, away from the rest, is given!
