Very specific interest - What major?

College Life

I am going to be going to college next year, and I am really interested in the study of indigenous people across the world, specifically those who have not been contacted very often by outsiders. Is there a specific major/college that has some sort of program that caters to this kind of interest? Thanks in advance.

Sounds exactly like anthropology. Lots of colleges offer that major.

Anthropology. I recommend you do some research on the field. Start my looking into Napoleon Chagnon and finding out why he is thought of as controversial.
