Anyone here used Viber (a messaging application).
My husband does, although I don’t know a lot about it.
It seems to work just fine for messaging. Was recommended to me for an international trip taking place now.
We use whatsapp (I have viber, I just don’t use it).

I usually stick with Imessage with iphone, but when I was traveling in Asia a lot of people I needed to communicate with used Whatsapp, so I added it. It really just depends on what people are using that you want to communicate with.

Yes, I think it is popular in some places. My husband uses it primarily to talk to family and friends in Eastern Europe.
