D24 just got off the waitlist, but JUST committed elsewhere with a great scholarship, so unfortunately will be declining.

Same - D24 just got in off the waitlist as well, already committed to her first choice school (applied ED, deferred, accepted in RD). But it does make you wonder!! No mention of financial aid in our letter - is that typical?

Son just got off waitlist with no info regarding financial aid. Maybe will come soon? He had decided but may reconsider if received aid. Any idea when aid will be received?

DD got off the waitlist! In shock and awe! So excited! We also committed elsewhere but would reconsider if there is aid. We, too, had no mention of financial aid/merit/scholarship. Congratulations to everyone who got off the waitlist! What a year this has been!!

Congrats! I just got off a chat with financial aid. Waitlist students should receive their packages by May 8th. It’s been such a roller coaster this year!

My daughter received an email yesterday afternoon that there was an update to her application portal. She logged in and found out she was accepted!

Hello! We are waiting on my daughter’s (WL now accepted) financial aid package. Did they send you an email? Or did you just have to keep checking the portal? How did it work? And what day was your child accepted off the waitlist? We got the accepted email Thursday afternoon. May 2nd.

We are also awaiting the financial aid offer - accepted 5/2. No email and nothing in portal.

We were accepted on May 2. Nothing in the portal as of yet (May 5) as far as package.

Just received another email asking to yet again confirm whether or not my daughter is still interested and wants to remain on the waitlist (we already just confirmed 3 weeks ago). We’re already committed elsewhere, but emails like this give kids a false sense of hope, while the schools admissions depts are just continuing to manage their yield. They didn’t want her EA or RD, or during the initial WL invites - guess what - we’ve moved on. Love the school that loves you.
