Villanova vs. Northeastern

I recently got off villanova’s waitlist. I went and toured the campus – loved it!! I am interested in STEM and will be pursuing a pre-med track. Which should I go to?? I got into Northeasern’s NUin program (first semester abroad).

Have you visited Northeastern? If so, how was it? Is there anything you disliked? How do you feel about this school in general?

Based on this, you probably would be more suited to Villanova.

You certainly can fufill pre-med requirements at either college. Assuming both colleges are comfortably affordable, if you love Villanova and can start on campus first semester that seems like a great option.

Which can you best afford - and after that, if both, which do you like better?

To say - I got into A and B - where should I go - doesn’t really add much to help you make a decision.

In the end, they are both fantastic schools - but you should pick the one that is best for you and only you can decide.

I consider these colleges peers, so if they are both affordable, but you like Villanova better, then great!

Are you comfortable starting your college career abroad and would this be something to differentiate the two experiences?

In addition to what others have said (price, starting abroad), do you want an urban or suburban campus? Is a religious college a plus, minus, or neutral for you? Do you value Northeastern’s well-defined and developed co-op program? Would the pageantry of Villanova’s basketball program and more traditional student life be attractive to you? Does the more itinerant nature (due to co-ops, study abroad, multiple campuses, etc.) of Northeastern’s student body present any issues for you?

I imagine come March, Nova is a much more lively campus than NE.
