My daughter was accepted off the waitlist yesterday as well. She is a legacy so little peeved Nova waited until now to let her in.
I got in yesterday around 12 pm. My local counselor called me… I hope everyone else gets a chance too!

My daughter had a 30 ACT, 9 APs, 4.25 GPA, 2 varsity sports, and president of school choir. She is at a large public school in Virginia. Most likely will stay with the school she committed to already. So hopefully another spot open for someone.

My daughter was accepted last week. Nova was her dream school, however she committed to another school and made some good connections and ended up declining her acceptance to Nova. She did so much to get “noticed” connecting with her AO many times. She applied EA, was deferred than waitlisted, than eventually accepted. She did 2 visits, went to a local Villanova event in our area spoke to AO there, when waitlisted she wrote a letter of continued interest, plus several emails. I hope this opens the door for another. I basically got in through another school. If do a year at another school and do the classes at Villanova. I’ll get transferred to Villanova Sophomore year.??? might be the best thing rn for me
What is the school that you will be attending for freshman year before you are able to transfer to Villanova? Does Villanova have a gateway program like Notre Dame?
Its Rosemont which is right next to Villanova. The program, I think is given by the Villanova admission counselor and I’m pretty sure you had to apply at Rosemont already. My SATs scores where really low so this is the best chance of getting in for me. I haven’t completely looked into the notre dame program but from the surface of it, it is the same but with Rosemont. The problem is that I think you have to have good word going around with the Villanova admissions counselors and there is only 16 spots.
