Has anyone heard of this bus company that supposedly started at UConn? How is it? I’m afraid of these bus drivers crashing and falling asleep at the wheel.

Is this the organization you are looking for? [Vincent Transportation Solutions](http://vincenttransit.com/)

From the website, it looks like the trips aren’t long ones at all. I wouldn’t worry about the drivers falling asleep. Since you are concerned, you might want to contact the Better Business Bureau and/or the transit authorities in the areas where this service operates, and ask about any complaints/reports that have been registered about Vincent Transportation.

Yes, that’s it. I was just wondering if anyone has ever used this one. But I’m just a worrier. There have been some bad accidents around the New York area lately with these casino buses, etc.

shellywelly: I just wanted to let you know that I work for a bus company that actually provides the buses and drivers for Vincent Transit and we have been doing so for 2 years. We’ve never had a problem with them, nor with our drivers. We’ve been in business for 70 years and are, not only Dept or Transportation certified (as required by law), but also Dept of Defense approved, which means the US Govt/Military uses us. I can assure you that these trips are not only legal but safe. I hope this information helps.

shellywelly - the buses you are speaking of are the Chinatown Express buses, they drive to Boston or D.C. from Chinatown for something like $20. They are dangerous and I would never allow anyone I know to use them. In this case it is truly “you get what you pay for.”
