Violation Code of Conduct- Alcohol

I am in college. My boyfriend and I went drinking at some party (none of my friends were there, just me and his friends & there girlfriends, who I am not necessarily close with). Well, we got into an argument because I drank a little too much and things got extremely heated. His friends didn't exactly help because they screamed back at me. Well security was called and then I was told to go back to his place with him to sleep and calm down. We went back there and things started out fine, but his friends made several rude comments and I got heated. One went to call security again, and I ended up throwing something. Now I am awaiting a hearing from the school...

In the meantime I have gone to a counselor, and went to a Psychiatrist to receive some help for aclohol, and alcohol counseling. I have also been to a couple alcoholics anonymous meetings.

This is my first offense, and I am not sure what the heck got into me. I have been very stressed with my dad being diagnosed with cancer, my boyfriend so called cheating, and him just placing all of his problems onto me. I know NONE of this is to blame for what happened...but what do you think the outcome would be??

I am hoping for probation with some counseling, however, what do you think??

Thanks, please no rude comments, I already know it was a mistake.

*And he is no longer my boyfriend, I should have changed that to ex.

You may have to pay some fines and take a alcohol awareness class.

My son was caught underage drinking twice his sophmore year. He received a fine and had to go to an awareness program. Sounds like you learned a lesson, kids are going to drink, the key is to know your limit, how to be responsible, and stay in control after the fact.

Mention that you've seen a counselor and are going to AA meetings, that'll probably help show you understand that there is an issue and that you're serious about changing your behavior.
