Virginia Colleges

Hello,
I am a student at a community college in Virginia. The great thing about this is that through articulation agreements with my current school and because my grande point average is fairly decent, 3.5, I can get into nearly any college or university I want in this state. The only school I am actually exicted about transferring to would be the College of William and Mary, which considering the circumstances in which I havw to live in Hampton roads area of Virginia-the commute is nothing. However, they require their transfers students to have a gpa of 3.6-I’m just shy of that mark. I want to double major in Anthropology and History or Classics. If I don’t make the mark with Wlliam and Mary I’m considering Old Dominion University, Virginia Wesleyan College, and Christopher Newport Unviersity. Many of the programs with these schools Sociology programs don’t seem to be geared toward to people who are planning on grad school but to those who are looking to enter the work force. Can anyone give me more info about these schools so when I go to the appoinments with academic advisors I know the right questions to ask?
